Hi all! As promised, here are some more nail inspiration pics for you for the upcoming holidays. So you can spend all day before Christmas Eve doing your nails. Assuming you’re not cooking.
So for my first weekend of Christmas themed celebrations (a week before the actual holidays) I wanted to do a nice, corny red/white glitter combo. For this mix I used OPI’s Coca-Cola Red, My Boyfriend Scales Walls and In True Stefani Fashion.
The original idea was to stamp a Christmassy picture over the white nail (glitter and all), but as it turns out, that didn’t work. Here’s my theory as to why: Coca-Cola Red is what can be dubbed a OCW (One Coat Wonder, terminology courtesy of Beautygeeks), and something about the formula makes it dry waaay too fast or something to make it stick to my stamper. And I didn’t really have time to look for a different type of red.
So later today I’ll redo my nails some other way and I’ll update this post to let you know how it turned out! Unless it turns out horribly, in which case this will be the end of today’s Christmas nail inspiration post.
