Hi all, I know it’s been a while since I’ve done swatches. I’ve been abroad, living out of a suitcase for work so it’s not so easy to get my hands on new collections as they’re released. After some research however, I managed to get a hold of the entire Enchanted collection by Zoya, that’s been released just in time for the holiday season. Let’s get started, shall we?
So this collection consists of 6 polishes: 2 shimmers with duochrome type effects and 4 PixieDust polishes. What’s a PixieDust polish? Polish that dries with a textured, matte finish. So basically it’s what OPI calls Liquid Sand.

So this is “a bewitching emerald green with a sugary green sparkle.” Of course it is. Let’s see what my notes say.
My notes say she’s a pretty two-coater, and the exact type of green you’re gonna wanna wear during the Xmas holidays. Lotta green.
Olivera
“A spellbinding color-flip metallic with an indigo base and a green and purple shift.” Cool. Truth be told, I was most excited about this one when I first saw the set.
Anyway, the big news here is: ladies and gentlemen: we have a one-coater. Usually I do two anyway, but honestly there was no need to. Excuse the mess on my ringfinger. Formula was great, too. Looked dark green at first but as you move your hand all the different shimmers come out. A word of warning: be careful when removing. This stained my entire fingers upon removal. All of it.

“A luscious berry with a sugary sparkle.” This description made me hungry.
So apparently this shade of pink is a popular holiday collection thing now instead of the more cliché reds. I still like it, though.
Alice
“A captivating periwinkle with magenta and blue sparkles.” Mmokay.
The sparkles are very pretty! So yeah, 2 coats, not much else to report. Not my color tbh. But pretty nonetheless.
I might update these pics at some point, because honestly: this hotel lighting does not do much for the sparkles in this thing.

“a whimsical color-flip metallic with a periwinkle base and magenta shift.” That’s right, y’all. This baby’s whimsical.
OK I gotta say. Didn’t love it in the bottle but MY GAWD she’s gorgeous. Look at that shimmer! I’d need to take pictures out in the daytime probably, but that’s just not an option due to work and such. I looooove this. LOVE. This is three coats (and there’s STILL some VNL), no top coat.
See that? That pink shift? Gahhh. I’m so glad I have this polish now.
Waverly
“A brilliantly deep sapphire blue with blue sparkles in the exclusive Zoya PixieDust Matte Sparkle formula.” Well. This was certainly difficult to apply. Bit more goopy than the rest, even for a PixieDust polish. But it’s sooooo worth it.
I tell ya though, I wouldn’t have been mad if this had been a regular shiny polish. Of course you could slap some top coat on. And then some more top coat, since polishes like these often drink up most of the first layer.
You can see this dries up to be very, very dark. That’s not a bad thing, but it is something to keep in mind.
Well. Firstly, sorry about the glittery mess that has become my fingers while swatching these. That’s what happens with applying and removing PixieDust polishes a bunch of times. Hope you still got a good idea of what the polishes look like.
The Zoya Enchanted collection should be available wherever you usually buy your Zoya polishes. For the US and Canada: you can pick ’em up from zoya.com. For the Netherlands: take a look at prettypolish.nl. Anyone else: try Beauty Bay, even though they don’t have this collection (yet).
So which polishes are you thinking of getting?
