As always, we have a nice little overview of what we can expect from OPI in 2018!
Lisbon Collection (Spring 2018)
As we’ve come to expect from OPI, this collection will be available as regular polish, Infinite Shine as well as GelColor.

- Closer Than You Might Belém
- Tile Art to Warm Your Heart
- Suzi Chases Portu-geese
Some of these seem nice and summery. Others… we’ve seen before. Or very similar. Also, just 2 shimmers. You know how I love a good shimmer. Maybe later this year…
Grease Collection (Summer 2018)
It’s finally happening. Grease is getting its own line of nail polish with OPI. I saw it pop back up on Netflix the other day, too. So that can’t be a coincidence. Turns out: it’s not. This year is the movie’s 40th anniversary. 40, bruh. Anyway, the polishes. As always: regular polish, Infinite Shine and GelColor.
- Don’t Cry Over Spilled Milkshakes
- Meet a Boy As Cute As Can Be
- Summer Lovin’ Having a Blast!
- Was It All Just a Dream?
- Teal Me More, Teal Me More

- Frenchie Likes to Kiss?
- Pink Ladies Rule the School
- Hopelessly Devoted to OPI
- You’re the Shade that I Want
- Tell Me About It Stud
- Danny & Sandy 4-ever!
The names are cute. I’m kinda curious about this collection. But wait! There’s more. Apparently we’re getting three shades in a new type of finish:
It’s supposed to have a leathery finish. Whatever that means. The colors are:
- Rydell Forever
- Grease is the Word
- Electrifyin’ Pink
Pop Culture (Summer)
So after the shatter and Liquid Sand polishes, OPI must’ve felt it was time for a new oddity. So there’s a new textured nail polish out there called Pop Culture. The collection consists of 6 colors and you’re supposed to slap 2 coats of the stuff on your nails bareback. So no base coat, no top coat. They’re supposed to have little round “bubbles”, which are just bits in the polish. I’m not a huge fan of stuff like this. I liked Liquid Sand, but… I kind of get a drywall vibe here. But if you tried it and feel differently, do share!
- OPI Pops
- Pink Bubbly
- Pop Star
- Hate To Burst Your Bubble
- Days of Pop
- Bumpy Road Ahead
Peru Collection (Fall 2018)
Lots of summer collections this year, huh? So OPI came at us with a collection inspired by Peru.
The shades:

- Come Se Llama?
- Yes, My Condor Can-do!
Once again, available in regular polish, Infinite Shine and GelColor.
Metamorphosis (Fall 2018)
So there’s a range of top coats out. I’m not a big fan of these, because I never seem to be able to finish a bottle. These look pretty though.
- This Changes Everything!
- Metamorphically Speaking
- Can’t Be Camouflaged!
- Ecstatic Prismatic
- Butterfly Me To the Moon
- You Little Shade Shifter
The Nutcracker and the Four Realms (Holiday 2018)
A really big holiday collection, yay! It’s got 15 colors available in polish, Infinite Shine and GelColor. The last three are glitter top coats, apparently.
